My 10 minute wrap up of a 4 week, 945km hike across Spain
I've been really shocking about telling people about my El Camino de Santiago pilgrimage where I walked 945kms across Spain in October last year.. Kind of because it's so tough to explain what I went through to someone who hasn't done it yet.
It's unlike any travelling you'll ever do. Its not like going to the clubs of Barcelona, or the beaches in Croatia, but rather a search for the inner you. It gives you the opportunity to slow down and THINK in a world that runs at a million miles an hour, and a chance to challenge everything you stand for.
It also makes you realize how simple life can be in a world that is so over complicated with "problems" rather than "situations". We've been all the way to the moon and back but struggle to find time to walk across the street to greet our new neighbours. The paradox of our time is that we have bigger houses but smaller families. More conveniences but less time. We have more degrees but less sense. More knowledge but less judgement. More medicines but less health. We spend so much time working harder to make more money to buy bigger houses and cars for our families, but never have the time to do exactly what we actually seek which is to slow down and enjoy the moment.
Anyway the point I'm making is that SIMPLY LIVING IS NOT ENOUGH. This is your life, do what you love and do it often. If you don't like something, change it. If you don't like your job, quit. If you don't have time, stop watching TV. Figure out what kind of eggs you like. Do things that scare you, do things that don't. Be your own compass, with no place to go but EVERYWHERE. This is your life so keep it simple, live your dreams and stop over analyzing.
Life is too short for that!!!!
Here's 10 mins of highlights from my 4 week trip. Hope you like it. Ps pump the sound 😍
